MiCTA Selects Strategic Management Associates as a National Vendor for Security Consulting Services

 

Saginaw, MI (April 4) – MiCTA, a national, non-profit group purchasing organization located in Saginaw, MI, has named Strategic Management Associates as an approved national vendor for network and desktop security consulting services. The initial Master Service Agreement will enable MiCTA members to purchase information security consulting services from SMA at a discount until 2016.

Comprised of industry leaders who were engrained during the development and implementation of today’s regulatory threat assessment standards, the SMA staff’s work products are well known and recognized within the U.S. DoD Security Institute, US National Security Agency and US National Security Council.

 

SMA staff credentials include CISSP, MPA, PMP, CSIA and Certified Auditor with industry experience including Gramm-Leach-Bliley/Financial Services Modernization Act, FERPA, NFPA, ISO, COBIT, HIPAA/HiTECH, and PCI support.

 

Services for Governance, Risk & Compliance include Cyber Security Assessment/Full Spectrum Planning; Policy/Standards Compliance, Continuity of Operations Planning, Audits, Emergency Response and “Hands-On” Prevention, mitigation/response/recovery training focused upon “Operational Resiliency”.

 

Strategic Management Associates was selected as an approved national vendor as the result of MiCTA's highly competitive bidding process, which is designed to evaluate products and services on behalf of its nationwide membership. Besides delivering substantial cost savings to its members, MiCTA Master Service Agreements eliminate the need for its members to conduct their own expensive and time-consuming individual bidding processes.
